Now, what
wine would go good with a traditional clambake? Considering the complexity of
flavors in a clambake: potatoes, corn, sausage (kielbasa/linguica/chourizo), lobster, clams, mussels, etc. - I also include a couple of fennel bulbs
for just a hint of licorice - I suggest a nice, chilled Rose' wine as the
perfect drink pairing. Clambake Rose' from the Northcoast is made from 100%
Syrah; it is light and dry, with hints of strawberry and peach, similar in
style to the Rose' wines from the Provence region of France. But, you don't
have to have a clambake in order to enjoy Clambake Rose'.
